Open Thread -- CERN Webcam Edition

One week ago yesterday, the Large Hadron Collider had it's first test. Below is a link to two webcams located at CERN, the home of the Large Hadron Collider: http://www.cyriak.co.uk/lhc/lhc-webcams.html Isn't technology wonderful? Now all those conCERN trolls can keep an eye on things themselves... This is an Open Thread.

Well, that is...

.... France and Switzerland gone, then. Palin didn't blink. I must admit that I hadn't realised that they were on McCain's list of unfriendly countries. Did he get confused and think one of them was Spain?

They probably didn't notice.

It's not like they can see 'em from their homes or anything. And you know how that old saying goes -- "out of sight, out of mind." They're both out of their minds, and anything that isn't directly in their line of sight doesn't exist in their worldview.

Jim Wasserman/sacbee: Mortgage rates dive, aiding refinancers:
Jennifer Panganiban watched the charts all year, from the January lows through the highs of July. A week ago she and her husband pounced, locking in a 30-year mortgage at 5.875 percent.

Dang Welshman...

you've given new meaning to Concern trolls.... Would they all fall prey to the sucking sound of CERN.
