In my last post entry I wrote about the anti-racist carnival Rock Against Racism.Today it is known as Love Music Hate Racism.This organization tries to stop racism by creating music events with different genre bands. Many bands are excited to participate in a will that it might also stop the BNP organization.BNP stands for British National Party.It is a patriotic organization that reminds of the Nazis act. Their over nationalism has become more of a racist issue and it convinces people to hate.

This year in April there was a celebration of 30 years anniversary of a carnival Rock Against Racism.In 1978 different bands such as The Clash and Tom Robinson came together to fight racism with their music.It was a mass movement bringing people from different backgrounds,different skin colors together in Victoria Park in east London.

In June 2007,not even a year ago, to the world was presented "Zeitgeist", an activist documentary film that left people in shock. Zeitgeist has changed opinions and beliefs of many bringing a strong statement that the truth is not told but it is realized, inspiring people to be more critical and find the truth for themselves.

This is rather an offensive question, but a question we have to ask ourselves. Open our eyes and see what effect media really has on us. Should it be the way it is and should it be considered appropriate for year 2008. We turn on television, watch news so that we could get informed about what is going on today in our state, our nation and around the world. But are we getting the right information or we're being more amused? Perhaps we're being told lies?
