Racism goes beyond black and white. There are many other colors such as those in a rainbow, if some haven’t noticed. Maybe if the Chinese, Mexicans, Spanish or the Indians were identified as colors their voices would be heard.

My Reaction to the Race and New Media Conference

On May 3, 2008, I was one of the many students and teachers to attend the first Race and New Media conference. The conference was located on the campus of New York City College of Technology in downtown Brooklyn. There the students were given a great chance to voice their opinions, reactions, and ask questions to the professor’s arguments.

Racism and Immigration

The presidential candidates have made immigration reform one of the major issues in their campaign and linked it to national security. None of the candidates such as John McCain, Barrack Obama or Hillary Clinton have directly said their views on whether their going to pass amnesty or not, but each candidate does have plans to improve our Immigration System.
