Watch as Rep. Steve Cohen questions David Addington as to the status of the Vice Presidency, resulting in Cohen defining the Veep as "kind of a barnacle" attached to the Executive Branch.
Thus, we can refer to Mr. Cheney as nothing more than a barnacle that should be scraped off the hull of our Ship of State, yes?

The lights are out,
no one is home in D.C. We've all read that Congress has the power to issue contempt citations, and jail refusniks until such time as the information is provided. Suggest that would flip the equation 180 from where we are, forcing the administration to challenge Congress' authority.
So the question becomes: is the Veep in contempt of Congress, er what?
I'm beginning to wonder if the number of folks in
contempt outnumber the folks who aren't.

If this is the best the administration has to offer... They all need to be fired now. Acting like petulant teenagers...and fawning stupidity.
It's even worse than that. These represent the "best" they
have, the power brokers and policy manipulators.
When uncovered in the light of day and confronted, they are shown to be obviously nothing more than arrogant, petulant criminals who do whatever they can to weasel their way into justifying items even ~they~ won't admit to doing in public.
