Penny Coleman's Flashback at the Ensemble Studio Theatre

Bumped. Originally FP'd 2008-03-15 10:25:27 EST; accidentally buried by this editor. -- GH

If you happen to be around 52nd street New York City next Wednesday, there's a play you might want to see:

Coleman, as you may recall, testified with Ilona Meagher at the December 2008 congressional hearings into Veterans Affairs and PTSD. You may have also read Penny's commentary about the experience: Testifying to Congress About Suicide Epidemic Among Vets

Ilona and I reviewed Coleman's book, Flashback in June of 2006.

So if you are tired of all the bombast and rhetoric and vicious snarling around the Presidential election, perhaps the play is the thing to refocus priorities.

Penny has an editorial

Up, over at AlterNet, I have the link in the post on Winter Soldier, this morning.

“ Every war, when viewed from the undistorted perspective of life's sanctity, is a "civil war" waged by humanity against itself."

- Daisaku Ikeda
