I heard Bush speaking today and thanked God the markets were closed over the weekend.

Thank goodness for non voting shares in banks...

I'm still scratching my head on that one...but heartened to know someone thought of the idea. Let the banks eat their own bad debt.... Wonder what made Bushco change their mind...or did the CEO's balk at the thought of the government meddling with their own inflated paycheck!
