Cutting to the chase, the operative phrase is "we have the technology". The problem? The "technology" lives inside individual transporters, that move from place to place powered (mostly) by six hundred pound pieces of metal, that consume dead dinosaurs as fuel. And that's "advanced"?
As the saying goes, some days it's not even worth chewing through the restraints.

I'd love to see a few over here, even if just a test market in
several areas -- some in the NE, some in the south, a few in the midwest, and some on the west coast.
