The broader aim of worldwide Hindu protests against upcoming Hollywood movie "The Love Guru" is to protect the interests of various minorities and ethnicities of the world and save them from future ridicule, Rajan Zed, acclaimed Hindu leader who is spearheading these protests, said in a statement from Nevada (USA) today.

Church of Scientology International (CSI) has expressed interest in working with acclaimed Hindu leader Rajan Zed on interfaith issues.
Edward Parkin, Director and Vice President for Cultural Affairs of CSI, in a communiqué to Zed, wrote,
"…I look forward to working with you on our mutual interfaith actions. We really need to bring religious beliefs, faith and action back to this culture. We are in planning mode for the next Interfaith Conference and would be highly interested in working with you…".

Hindus have urged the Viacom and its brand Paramount Pictures to post a study- guide about Hinduism and guru tradition on their websites and place it in movie theaters worldwide to undo the damage done by their upcoming Hollywood movie "The Love Guru".

Hindu groups are taking the protest movement against upcoming Hollywood movie "The Love Guru", spearheaded by acclaimed Indo-American leader Rajan Zed sometime back, a step further.
According to Bhavna S. Shinde, who represents Hindu Janjagruti Samiti and Sanatan Society for Scientific Spirituality in the Americas, activists of these organizations will put protest fliers in temples, grocery stores, community centers, etc., in USA, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah, besides educating the communities in these countries about the movement. An online campaign will also be launched.

Ilona Cheshire, BFI Press Officer, replying to a communiqué from Bhavna Shinde of Hindu Janjagruti Samiti and Sanatan Society for Scientific Spirituality, said, "Please rest assured that the BFI will not be screening this title nor will be involved with a possible release of it."

Groundbreaking Hindu Baccalaureate Service at an American university

The acclaimed Hindu and Indo-American leader Rajan Zed broke another ground on Sunday by organizing first Hindu Baccalaureate Service at a respected university in Western USA complete with Gayatri Mantra, tilak (religious mark) over the foreheads of graduates, and lamp lighting in front of statue of goddess Saraswati.
In July last, Zed recited the first Hindu prayer in the 218 years history of United States Senate in Washington DC, thus setting an American religious milestone.

Rajan Zed, the internationally acclaimed Hindu chaplain, has been denied the request of reading opening prayer in the Australia House of Representatives.
In a reply to Zed’s request, Bernard Wright, Deputy Clerk of the House, wrote,
…standing orders as they are worded would not allow a chaplain of any faith to say a prayer or similar invocation: this is because they specify that it is the Speaker who reads the prayer, and also because they specify the prayer…
