You Rock!

A quick comment this morning. I filed several FOIA to the DOL for statistics on injuries and deaths for Iraq. I never received a reply (note to anyone filing an FOIA - a return receipt request probably would have helped - live and learn). So I was fascinated to hear about the claim management database at the Office of Worker's Compensation Programs.  It explained why the statistics were so hard to come by until relatively recently. I usually think of federal government agencies as on the leading edge of technology. Apparently not so. Seems the DOL could use some financial assistance for tech. I'll try to talk about this in more detail in Part 2.

I'll be in another round of sessions today.

We are so happy that you are there covering this.

Wanted to attend but CNA filed the infamous LS 207 cutting off my disabled husbands disability payments.   Looking for the their quarterely financial report to come out on the 27th to see if they needed the money more than he does.

Can't wait to hear the rest.

I'll try and have something within the next day. There's so much material that I'm breaking it into little chunklets so as not overwhelm readers.

thanks Susie!
