rewarding failure, he will be allowed to stay with all of his chairmanships intact ... but I say throw the bum out.

I am just tired of "settling".  Let the Republicans have his snivelling @$$.

his current assignments.  Whether he'd jump ship or not is ~almost~ irrelevant; if he did, then he'd be the "sour grapes" candidate who was unable to accept the consequences of his actions (or, in the case of Oversight over the Executive Branch, his inaction).

And let him run around the Senate taked with just a sign around his neck. That will take care of the other options.
